FAQ

What can I make with these? Delicate necklaces, stacking bracelets, anklets and earrings, or use them as spacers to add detail between larger beads.

How are these different from smooth heishi? The edge of each disc is cut with tiny facets, so the beads sparkle more than smooth polished heishi of the same size.

Will the beads vary? Yes. Gold Silk Jade is a natural stone, so some discs are deeper golden yellow, others lighter cream, and the tone differs on every bead.

Is Gold Silk Jade real jade? Gold Silk Jade is a trade name. In the bead trade it refers to a natural quartzite rather than nephrite or jadeite.

How do they string? The hole runs approximately 1.0mm, which takes beading wire, nylon cord and thin elastic.

What pairs well with them? These beads sit especially well with gold and brass findings, and with citrine, tiger eye or carnelian.
